Ken Carson Exposes Hacker Attempting to Blackmail Him Over Songs

Ken Carson has had enough of hackers. The rapper, who has dealt with repeated leaks of his unreleased music, took matters into his own hands on January 9 by exposing an attempted blackmail scheme. In a bold move, Carson shared a direct message exchange with an unnamed hacker who tried to extort him for early access to his music.

The hacker’s approach was both audacious and desperate. In the leaked messages, they pleaded with Carson for unreleased songs, promising to return stolen files and refrain from leaking any tracks in exchange. “I just want music for my ears,” the hacker wrote. “Let’s get this over with, Ken. Everything will be returned, and songs will be safe.” When Carson didn’t immediately respond, the hacker escalated their threats, implying they could take further damaging actions.

Ken Carson Calls the Hacker’s Bluff

Carson, however, refused to be intimidated. In a sharp and dismissive reply, he wrote, “I ain’t reading all that lil bra. You gonna be hacking everybody for no reason.” The rapper went on to mock the hacker’s efforts, pointing out that leaks have already compromised much of his unreleased music. “All my sh*t already hacked,” he added. “I don’t see you taking a W here.”

By publicly sharing the exchange, Carson effectively neutralized the hacker’s attempts to coerce him, making it clear that he wouldn’t be manipulated.

Frustration With Leaks

Ken Carson’s frustration with leaks is nothing new. In a 2023 interview with Complex, he expressed disdain for hackers, describing how leaks undermine artists’ work. “Fck a leak, fck a hacker,” Carson said. “You’re really delaying somebody’s album. Once a leaker or hacker gets your song, it’s not even your song anymore.”

The rapper’s sentiments highlight the toll that leaks can take on artists, from delayed releases to the emotional strain of losing creative control.

Standing Firm

Despite the challenges, Ken Carson’s firm stance against hackers underscores his determination to protect his artistry. By exposing this attempted blackmail, he sent a clear message to anyone else considering similar tactics: he won’t back down.

While the issue of leaks continues to plague the music industry, Carson’s transparency and humor in handling the situation offer a glimmer of hope that artists can push back against these violations. Fans, meanwhile, are rallying around the rapper, hoping he can focus on creating without further interference.
